Katelyn is on the student counsel at her school. They meet every Friday to discuss assemblies, school spirit days as well as making signs that advertise for those days. For this year's project they are going to help collect Christmas presents for a family that doesn't have enough money buy them.
During their first meeting they voted for the Spirit Day theme like Creative Hat Day, Bring A Stuffed Animal Day, Hawaiian Clothes Day, Celebrate A 100 Days of School Day, PJ Day, and Dress Up Like A Book Character Day.
She told us that she thinks being on Student Counsel will be really fun.
