Birthday Celebrations

Katelyn had a wonderful birthday despite the fact that she had to go to school. And believe me, she did try to get out of it by telling us that her friend's parents let her skip school on her birthday. Ah, sorry girlfriend, ain't gonna happen :-)

Her day started out with the usual birthday breakfast of Chocolate Waffles. After school the grandparents come over and visited for awhile before dinner. They enjoyed looking through Katelyn's Name Book that Nana made for her. Katelyn chose to go to Applebee's for dinner where she got to open her presents. Afterwards we headed to The Spotted Cow for ice cream.

She also got a call from Nana all the way from Hawaii. Aunt Jenny also called her and Uncle Lee, Aunt Tracie, Grace and Sarah called and sang to her, "Happy Birthday."

Thanks to all who made her day very special and for the wonderful gifts.
