We were excited this Friday to have a our first Family Movie Night Double Feature. It was also nice to have Grandma and Grandpa join us. Big thank you to Noreen who came over to Grandma-Sit so the Grandparents could hang with us all evening. We decided to watch "Up" because Grandpa had never seen it. If you recall, the last time we saw it he was out of town on business so we took Grandma with us. We also chose "Star Trek" because, well, it's a rockin movie! But honestly, because the Grandparents use to watch the original TV show and had yet to see the movie. We knew they'd love it and they did. Emily was away at camp when we saw it in the theater so she'll be the only one giving her review this time.
I have to give a plug to the best pizza joint in town. Eric's co-worker opened a take-in-bake pizza place called Big Star Pizza in Snohomish, WA. If you haven't had pizza from them then you MUST give it a try because it's one of the best pizzas we've have ever had. And believe me, we've had our share of pizza since Family Movie Nights started this year.
Emily: She liked the big explosions because they were awesome and she loves explosions. Her favorite character was Keenser (Scotty's assistant) because he was really funny. Her favorite scene was when The Enterprise came up out of the clouds next to Saturn. She rates this movie a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
