Weekend Happenings

Our weekend was action packed as we had been suck in the house for 4 days while Katelyn was recovering from being sick. On Saturday we started our day at the book sale at the library. The girls bought a few books to add to their ever expanding book collection. We then headed over the Grandpa Dave and Grandma Carol's house to help decorate Easter eggs. We had a good time coloring the eggs with Great-Grandma Ruthie. We ended our evening by decorating our colored eggs as bugs.

Easter morning the girls looked into their Easter baskets and opened presents sent from the family. They also enjoy participating in an egg hunt at church and collecting even more candy and plastic eggs. While at church we were blessed to witness 3 children get baptized. The girls wanted to be baptized but Eric worked and couldn't be at church so we decided to schedule it for another Sunday.

After church we got together with the gang. Cousins Cal and Maddy brought their friends Matthew and Michael and the kids enjoyed running around the back yard blowing bubbles. This is the first year that Katelyn got to sit at the adult table which she seemed to enjoy greatly.

Thank you to all who sent the girls Easter cards and gift baskets. We are thankful that we can celebrate Easter with our family and friends and remember what Jesus did for us so that we can be free.
