After 5 doctor visits we finally found out what Em has - Mono. YUP, not sure how that got passed the other two doctors but it did. We decided to take her to the walk-in clinic after we noticed a rash spreading all over her body. Turns out it was a good thing she had a rash as it was the only clue to the doctor that she could have Mono. Guess you can’t get a Mono patient Penicillin because it will give them a major rash. The doctor didn’t seem to think it was an issue that we are in Spokane visiting relatives and didn’t encourage us to go home so we have decided to stay. Just have to make sure no one kisses her sweet little lips.
This evening we headed out to Nana and Larry’s for a BBQ dinner. It was an excellent BBQ at that! While there Emily slipped on their hardwood floors and fell really hard. I was extremely fearful that she hurt herself as she’s not suppose to play contact sports nor take any blows to her spleen area. She seemed fine as she played Table Hockey and enjoyed the evening with Nana & Larry.
