Cinderella Play

This morning I had the privilege of joining Emily for her field trip to see a play about Cinderella. It was fun to hang out with her at the theater and enjoy the morning together. I also attached pictures of the book she made.

Settings: Cinderella home & Palace



Cinderella takes care of her stepsisters and stepmother. Meanwhile, they learn how to impress others and think only of themselves.


One day they are invited to a ball at the palace of the Prince. He wants to meet all the young ladies in his kingdom so he could find a wife. She will be the Queen.


Stepmother wants one of her daughters to marry the Prince. So, she leaves Cinderella cries but is surprised by her Fairy Godmother. With a little magic, she is ready for the ball.


The Prince, dressed in ordinary clothes, quickly discovers how selfish Forsythia and Columbine are. Cinderella, however, is honest, kind and caring. Following directions, she rushed out to the palace at 9:30. Her slipper is left behind.


The Prince proclaims he will search the kingdom for the girl who fits the shoe. Of course it fits Cinderella perfectly! Being kind, honest, and caring won the heart of the Prince and they lived happily ever after.


My favorite part was when Rag came out. My favorite character is Forsythia.
