Introducing . . . . .

A few months ago we teamed up with Grandpa Mike and Grandma Vel to sponsor children through Compassion International. The girls prayed about it and selected two children who had been on the waiting list to be sponsored for a long time. We are happy to introduce you to our Compassion children:

Katelyn is writing and helping support Maria Guiselle Bonilla Viverso. She is the same age as Katelyn and lives in Colombia with her mother and 3 siblings. She loves art, swimming and running and goes to school and regularly attends church, Bible class and Vacation Bible School.

Emily is writing and helping support Luis Yupanqui. He is the exact same age as Emily even down to the day. Luis lives in Bolivia and lives with his mother and 4 siblings. He loves to play with his cars and also attends school and church.

Both girls wrote to Maria and Luis back in March and Emily received her first letter from Luis 3 weeks ago. It was fun to hear from him and all that he's excited about and experiencing in his country. We are still awaiting Maria's letter and will be sure to let you know when we hear from her.
