We are going to start a new weekly post that will be written by the girls. This summer we have asked the girls to start a weekly journal of what they liked about their week. This helps them keep up with their writing skills as well as learn how to journal.
Emily: This week was the 4th of July! We had relatives over to our house. It was fun because we got Pop It's to throw, Sparklers to spark, Mini Bombs to blow, and bees to spark. I went to sleep at 11:00 p.m! I love fireworks!
Katelyn: This week, on the 4th of July, Uncle Lee, Aunt Tracie, Grace and Sarah came from Spokane to visit us. All nighttime, the fireworks began. We started off throwing Po-Its, then we did T-N-T Blasters and Bees. After that was Sparklers. Last, we set off a 100-Shot Magical Barrage which was kind of disappointing because it was a half dud. After that, we watched other people's fireworks and then went to bed after 11:00 p.m.
