A few days ago we received a gift via the Grandparents from Grace and Sarah. We were thrilled to see that they had donated two ducks in Katelyn and Emily's honor through World Vision.
We liked this idea so much that it might be something we do next Christmas. So many people are in need and yet we have everything we want. The girls are loved and do not go without. It might be a great idea for them to pick a charity of their choice to donate towards instead of giving more then one gift . . . don't think you've fooled us grandparents by sneaking more then one gift into the mix and going against the one gift rule :-) It would be a wonderful way to teach our children to look further then themselves. Could this become a family tradition?
Thank you Grace and Sarah for such a thoughtful gift. We hope our ducks will help a family meet their needs.
