New Chore Rules

OK, I have to admit that we haven't been all that consistent in the chore department. The girls do clean the house with me and have the "No Option" chores but we've been a little lax on the other chores.

A few weeks ago they sat down and thought up a list of chores they thought were appropriate for them. Today we wrote each chore on a Popsicle stick. These chore sticks are placed into a cup labeled "Chores". Each week the girls choose a chore stick and place it in their own chore cup. Those are the chores they'll be doing for the week. This helps change things around so they don't get stuck doing the same chore.

Below are the list of chores they decided on:

Feed Cats
Take out the trash
Vacuum
Swiffer/Sweep
Dust
Clean toilets
Clean sinks
Wash dishes by hand
Set table
Clear table
Empty dishwasher
Fold laundry
Wipe kitchen counters and breakfast bar
Run dishwasher
Make Beds
Massage parents - WE LOVE THIS ONE!!!
