First Time at Disneyland

This morning we woke up to heavy winds that lasted throughout the morning. It was nice as it kept the weather cooler. After a yummy breakfast we hoped on the shuttle and took off for our first time ever adventure at Disneyland. Eric and the girls have never been so it was fun to watch them enjoy it.

I did take pictures of everyone in front of the entrance with the flower shaped like Mickey's head but they didn't tun out . . . will do it again tomorrow.

The first thing we had to do is get the girl's their hats. Katelyn got the pumpkin mouse ears and Em got the pirate mouse ears. They also got autograph books and we saw a few characters but only got to get 2 of them to sign our books. We'll have to hit the park earlier to get the rest I guess.

Our first adventure started out in Adventure Land on the Jungle Cruise. Then all but Em and I headed to the Indiana Jones ride as we suffer from motion sickness and couldn't ride it. Instead she and I went up and explored Tarzan's Treehouse. The rest of the day was spent riding rides and enjoying the park.

We still have much to do this evening as we decided to come home and rest up, swim in the pool, have dinner and then head back for the fireworks show tonight.
