The older cousins had a good time creating a fort in the basement, playing in the tree fort and showing Grace the new slide. They also spent many hours making movies of the "Super Cousins" in the Grandparent's basement. Sorry, the videos won't be shown here . . . I'm under a strict oath to "NEVER" post them on the blog.
We are all amazed at how much Sarah has changed. She is now laughing, smiling and interacting with us. Emily said she "Only likes Baby Sarah because she is her cousin." Humm, Me thinks that Emily is warming up to babies . . . . . Sarah spent the weekend in luxury as she was passed around for all to hold and admire. She's such a good little baby!
On Sunday we celebrated Great Grandma Ruthie's 90th Birthday. Her birthday isn't till the end of the month but since family was in town Grandma Carol thought it would be fun to throw her a surprise birthday party. The cousins baked and decorated a cake and Grandma Carol made a yummy dinner for Great Grandma.
Thank you all for a fun weekend. We really enjoyed it.
